Amal Othman, LCSW

Psychology explores the soul, mind, and spirit - and how our minds shape our experience of reality. In contemporary life, collective distress is often experienced by individuals as depression, anxiety, and addictions. As a licensed clinical social worker, I offer integrative counseling to help you access your innate wisdom, cultivate resilience, and develop self-leadership-improving your quality of life.

I specialize in trauma, stress, and relationships-with oneself and with others. I provide supportive psychotherapy for addiction, chronic pain, and terminal illness.

My integrative approach draws on Internal Family Systems, Eastern and wisdom traditions, somatic and energy-based healing, and relational, cognitive, and behavioral modalities.

I have deep passion for nature, art, and lifelong learning and a deeper passion for helping others.

“No one can construct for you the bridge upon which precisely you must cross the stream of life, no one but you yourself alone.”- Nietzsche
